Daniel MacLeod

Daniel MacLeod is an engineer and preparedness author from rural Missouri. Raised in a Christian family where faith, hard work, and self-reliance shaped daily life, he combines that heritage with decades of engineering and problem-solving experience. Daniel focuses on clear thinking, smart planning, and realistic strategies—not hype or stockpiling—to help families prepare with confidence. He lives in rural Missouri with his wife and children, where he continues to refine the systems and principles he teaches while preparing for threats large and small.

Daniel has used his decades of engineering and preparedness experience to create the Engineered Preparedness Series. Unlike traditional preparedness books that are focused on one-size-fits-all solutions such as things to buy or skills to learn, his books take a practical approach to help readers build realistic plans—tailored to their specific location, family, and resources.

Shannon Nomura

Like many parents, Shannon has two smart boys that love activity books, riddles, facts and puzzles. Unfortunately, they find most activity books "too easy". Shannon decided to fix that and created The Young Genius™ Series, activity books that entertain while also challenging children intellectually. These books that combine math, word, logic and art activities along with fun facts. While age appropriate, these are made more challenging than the average activity book so that the kids grow and learn while they have fun.

Shannon is an Electronics Engineer whos career has spanned a variety of fields including semiconductor, appliances and industrial products. She is now using her years of engineering experience to create books that will help build up the next generation of engineers, doctors and artists.
